USAOPEN.com Implements Key Initiatives and Increases Membership Base

USAOPENconfirmed it is continuing to see overall growth in Memberships with an emphasis in Oceania and Americas.  The growth is in line with projections based on several key initiatives implemented in the first half of 2013.

We have seen both an increase in Membership and Shipping requests.  “This can easily be explained.  We implemented some key initiatives over the past few months that have steadily increased our business”, explains Raj Lwin, Managing Partner.  “First, we lowered our shipping prices in over 80% of our destinations.  We didn’t’ feel the need to announce it but Members did see the difference, and Memberships went up.”  The company was able to lower prices due to several cost reduction initiatives and continually managing risks in several key areas of the world.  “We simply passed on the savings to our Members because they deserve it.”

“Second, we simplified the cost to a Membership and communicated it”.  USAOPENonly charges an Account Setup Fee or a Monthly Membership Fee and also Forwarding Fees.  Everything else is free.  There are no add-on fees to maintain a Membership or Forward a Package (or Mail).  “We call it our ‘All Inclusive’ Membership.”

“Third, we implemented a Promotions Program.”  We want individuals to try our Memberships so they could at least compare.  We always offered a 30-day money back guarantee but customers were apprehensive in paying first.  We provided a 30-Day Free Trial Period.  We provided the Membership and the billing would start 30 days later.  Once again, the Member experience came first.  For those that wanted a break on shipping, we offered promotions with shipment discounts.

USAOPEN continues to look for ways to enhance the Membership and better service its Members.  Prior to the items above, USAOPENimplemented a Rewards and a Concierge (Shopping Vacation) Program in the latter half of 2012.
